| Other Info | Merseystate’s First LIVE S.A. performance after returning from their European Tour. "Merseystate can only be described as the lyrical commentary of our lives and times" Merseystate was conceived in May 2008, after founding members Wayne Joshua and Shai Caleb decided it was time to put their extensive experience playing with many other Top SA bands since 1998 to good use and produce an album that would truly reflect their individual skill and sophistication. Being heavily influenced by the likes of Sting, Snow Patrol and the Beatles, the name Merseystate was chosen. Their first Single “New Jersey Girl” hit the No.2 position on the Top 8@8 and No.6 on the Nokia Take40SA charts, after only having been play-listed 5 weeks prior. It has been the longest running single on S.A. Radio EVER! With an international tour of Europe in 2010, this is your chance to catch them on home ground. |
