Side Shows by Lulu's World of Masquerading Mannequins and Vaudeville's Tricksters. ☼ . v . e . n . u . e After losing our regular venue due to a family tragedy and scouring the Western Cape high and low at short notice and not finding a new one - instead of cancelling the event, we have decided to host it at the trusty Nekkies - with river, swimming pool, grassy camping, real toilets and showers. He has been consistently releasing and performing since 2002 when he was a core member of London’s now legendary Ambivalent Records. The Scorb debut album released on Ambivalent in 2003 gained him international attention and he immediately became in demand as a producer and live act / DJ. His subsequent work with Last Possible Solution and a slew of releases on international labels have helped to affirm his position as a leading producer on the scene. Tight arrangements, infectious hooks and a phat low end typify the Scorb sound and Ady has taken it to festivals and parties around the world, including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, England, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, South Africa, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland and the USA. Scorb’s second album Ipso Fvcto,released on Trick Music in 2007 received rave reviews and demonstrated his versatility as a producer. In 2009 he has compiled and produced TRKCD002 ABRA MACABRE which has taken the scene by storm and also marks his 100th track release. In addition to Scorb, Ady has a number of side projects; The bone crunching psy-tech of RAM with Lek Black (aka Paul Wright of LPS), The dark progressive leanings of Squid Inc. with Deviant Species’ Santos De Castro, pHibian, a new hard techtrance project, Orzels Machine, an electronica/technobreakz outfit with Trick Music’s Mike Rucinski and Prism with Arnaud Levasseur aka Concept (3D Vision – France). |
